Angela Stallings
Ms. Stallings is employed at Sonoco in Hartsville as a Senior Tax Accountant. She resides in McBee, SC and serves as President of McBee Lions Club.
She and her husband Leon were very active in the UWCC Financial Stability program during 2016 as volunteer tax preparers. Financial stability has been added recently as part of UWCC’s impact areas. Ms. Stallings was an integral part of the planning for this addition. She has served as Chairperson for several years.
Chuck English, Co-Chairperson
Mr. English is Branch Manager at Founders Federal Credit Union in Chesterfield. He is a long-standing board member, having served as Chairperson and is currently serving as Co-Chairperson.
He is the father of two, both attending College of Charleston. His daughter Sloan is a senior; upon completion of her undergraduate degree she will be perusing a Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree in Colorado next year. His son Harper is a sophomore at College of Charleston and plans to attend medical school after his undergraduate work.
Angie Smith , Treasurer
Ms. Smith is Manager at Woodforest National Bank in Cheraw, South Carolina and serves as Treasurer for UWCC.
She is a mother and grandmother who likes to spend her time away from work with her family, especially her granddaughters. She is an avid volunteer.
She says "I think it's important to show my children how volunteering and serving impacts the community."
Lavilla L. Evans
Ms. Evans is retired from Sandhills Telephone Cooperative; she resides in Jefferson, SC, and is very active in her community.
She is a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, Jefferson, SC, where she serves as church secretary. She also serves on Sandhills Medical Foundation as vice-chair, is a board member of Operation Round Up, Lynches River Electric Cooperative. In addition, she is on the Planning Commission with the Town of Jefferson.
Ms. Evans served as a board member with Pageland–Jefferson United Way prior to becoming a board member with UWCC.
Andrea Kiester Couch
Andrea Kiester is a Public Relations associate for Duke Energy's Government and Community Relations team in South Carolina, Pee Dee Region. She became a board member in August 2017.
Andrea is a graduate of Wake Forest University with Masters of Arts in management and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University.
She is a lifelong equestrian and enjoys trail riding when not in the show ring.
Doretha McDuffie
Ms. McDuffie is retired from Federal Government services, with 20 years of service.
She is a grandmother; she is also a great-grandmother of two and is awaiting the arrival of a third one in November 2017.
She is also very active in her church and community. She is a long-term board member of the United Way of Chesterfield County, having served as treasurer and allocations chairperson.
Mary McFadden
Mary McFadden lives in Chesterfield County and has been working at A O Smith Water Products Co., for over 35 years as a production scheduler.
She is very proud of the fact that she is married to a wonderful man, Stanley McFadden; they have been married for 29 years. They are motorcycle enthusiasts, especially doing the benefit rides for different charities and helping people in need.
She has a passion helping others, and thoroughly enjoys being able to give back, even if it means going out her way to do so.
Todd Davis, Co-Chairperson
Todd Davis became a board member in March 2018 and has recently been elected to serve as Co-Chairperson. He is the Continuous Improvement Manager at Mohawk Industries in Bennettsville. Todd was born and raised in Charleston, SC where he graduated from The Citadel and received a commission in the United States Air Force. He attained the rank of Captain and earned a Master’s Degree in Operations Management from The University of Arkansas before separating from active duty. Since entering the public domain he has worked in textiles his whole career with twenty years with Milliken & Co in the upstate, six years in Virginia and now back in SC for the last three. Todd and his wife Peggy have five children, all out of the nest, and four grandchildren. The kids are spread out from Nashville, Charleston, southwest Virginia and the Pee Dee region. He is very active at First Baptist Church Cheraw and loves college sports.
